玉书房

About

玉书房 — The Jade Study — studies one thing: how a person or a family makes judgments that hold up over time, when the choice is important, long-horizon, expensive, and hard to reverse.

Education, geography, marriage, career, wealth, succession. What they have in common: get one wrong, and you cannot go back.

Method and limits

The Jade Study researches major decisions. It does not promise to predict the future.

The knowledge it draws on comes from several directions: the Yijing, mental models, decision theory, statistics, geography, and energy resonance. No single one of them is sufficient alone.

The writing distinguishes between established fact, the author’s own judgment, and assumptions still to be tested. Judgments are revised as practice, cases and new information accumulate; revisions carry a version number and a date.
